Plex client for desktop computers

Plex for Linux is the desktop playback client. This Flatpak wraps the vendor's official Linux Snap (the only current Linux channel). It is not a vendor-official Flatpak. Flathub tv.plex.PlexDesktop is the vendor's abandoned listing (Freedesktop 23.08 EOL, stuck on 1.112.0 while the vendor shipped 1.115.0 security on Snap).

Plex Desktop is proprietary; this Flatpak redistributes the vendor's official Linux Snap, not vendor official. Same redistribution shape as Proton Mail's official RPM wrap.

Install

flatpak --user remote-add --if-not-exists thepeoples \
  https://flatpak.thepeoples.io/thepeoples.flatpakrepo
flatpak --user install -y thepeoples io.thepeoples.PlexDesktop
flatpak --user install -y thepeoples io.thepeoples.PlexDesktop//1.115.0

Optional system install uses sudo flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists --system and sudo flatpak install -y --system. The //version form pins the advertised ostree branch; stable tracks the latest advertised tree.
